In response to the events of September 11, 2001, U.S. Customs has introduced a bold new anti-terrorism initiative. C-TPAT is a collaborative effort between U.S. Customs and private industry. The objective of this program is to improve security along the entire supply chain, from manufacturer to importer. The benefits of this program will be a faster, safer, and more secure supply chain available to all participating companies.
